Your journey begins with a scenic 45-minute drive to Stormheimen Base Camp, located 45 km outside Tromsø. Nestled at the foot of the majestic Lyngen Alps, this picturesque location offers panoramic views of fjords and snow-capped peaks – a true winter wonderland.

Before you take the reins, our experienced guides provide a short introduction and training on dog sledding. Each sled is led by a team of 5–6 happy, well-trained huskies who live for the thrill of running. You’ll be paired with a partner, taking turns as "driver" and passenger, so both of you can enjoy the unique experience of guiding your own dog team. If you're traveling solo, you’ll be partnered with another participant or a guide.

During the 20–30 minute sledding experience, the crisp Arctic air and the sound of paws on the snow create an incredible sense of connection with nature. Halfway through, you’ll pause to take photos, soak in the stunning views, and switch roles before the huskies eagerly pull you onward.

After bidding farewell to your new four-legged friends, warm up with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and freshly baked cake – the perfect reward after your adventure.
